After a really hard winter it's great to see life returning to gardens, parks and the countryside. These photos were taken a few days ago in the garden of Brodie Castle.
Click on photos to enlarge them.
We usually have the garden to ourselves but today other people were enjoying it too.

So many bloggers are posting colourful, amazing photos for spring life. After the long winter we just went through, it is such a wonderous thing. Love these shots.
Ahh...a host of golden daffodils, how perfectly lovely, and the Cyclamen is gorgeous. I just love spring!
Sunny :)
Beautiful! Worthy of Wordsworth!!
All those daffodils are breathtaking!! Seeing so many of them in one place is amazing!!
Simply lovely and I imagine there was a really 'green' Spring smell in the air. Hope the weather keeps for you :-)
All those daffs and a SUNDIAL too!!
Get a close up next time Chris!
Spring at Brodie Castle is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for taking us on a tour.
When i first saw tulips growing this way under the trees in Spring, i was so delighted because they look just grasses in their native habitats. These photos you show look the same with different plants. These are the things i love in temperate countries, the grasslike flowers, which were just left there to bloom, untended.
I love your photos especially those in the ruins and earlier than that. Do you know that we have a few islands in our country we somehow associate with the landscape of Scotland? It is in Batanes and it is far from our mainland, so only few from here were able to visit. I was there last year and will visit again in June. thanks for the beautiful photos.
Hi Chris, WOW---so many Daffodils all in one place. How gorgeous!!!!! AND I love those cyclamen also.. You are right.. The leaves are just as pretty as the flowers...
Hugs,
Betsy
What a beautiful blanket of color, all those daffodils! All of your flowers are beautiful!
